On 15th October. 2018, representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (HEPZA) gave a warm welcome to a delegation from Korea Association for Photonics Industry Development (KAPID). KAPID comprises of enterprises from energy production, LED lighting, marine rig equipment and Wonkwang University.

At the meeting, Mr. Kim Hyun Ho – Chairman of KAPID expressed that members of KAPID would like to get information about the investment environment of Ho Chi Minh City, especially investment in export processing zones (EPZ) and industrial parks (IP) and to receive the support of HEPZA in investment consultancy, operation and training of human resources.

Then HEPZA presented an overview of HEPZA's activities, investment environment in Ho Chi Minh City, preferential policies, investment opportunities in EPZs-IPs, services of human resources, training, event organization, trade promotion and legal advice related to investment.

Throughout the talk, KAPID members are interested in tax policies, investment incentives, “One-stop” management at HEPZA, legal consultancy on investment, labor, environment, construction, as well as supplying and training human resources for Korean enterprises investing in the EPZs and IPs. KAPID is looking forward to cooperating in seeking investment opportunities, training human resources in the EPZs-IPs system managed by HEPZA.
