On November 14, 2016, the Government issued Decree No. 153/2016/NĐ-CP regulating minimum salaries for employees working under labor contracts. the Decree takes effect from January 1st, 2017.
Accordingly, from the date of January 1st, 2017, the minimum salaries applies to employees working for enterprises as follows:
The level of 3.750.000 VND/month, applicable to enterprises operating in the area under the region I.
The level of 3.320.000 VND/month, applicable to enterprises operating in the area under the region II.
The level of 2.900.000 VND/month, applicable to enterprises operating in the area under the region III.
The level of 2.580.000 VND/month, applicable to enterprises operating in the area under the region IV.
The Decree No. 122/2015/NĐ-CP of November 14, 2015 of the Government regulating minimum salaries for different regions applicable to employees under labor contracts working for companies, cooperatives, working groups, farms, housholds, individuals, agencies and organiations expired from the date this Decree takes effect.
